#MuslimBan protests at DFW International / by Brian Maschino

Today was definitely an emotional day following the protests at DFW International Airport, which erupted last night, Jan. 28, after select individuals arriving to the U.S. from newly banned Muslim countries were detained until further notice.

What turned into a number of protests at airports across the country, the demonstrations at DFW were not only peaceful, but very powerful and supportive. Local Girl Scout troops brought in cookies to those demonstrating, supporters supplied cartons of water and food, ordered pizza and, from what I hear, monster tacos.
